Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AuditMagnet handles the information you submit when requesting a website audit.

1. Information We Collect

When you request an audit, we collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Website URL submitted for analysis
  • Audit scores, diagnostics, technical findings, and generated report metadata
  • Consent timestamp

The audit engine may fetch public pages, headers, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and linked public assets from the submitted website.

2. How We Use Information

  • To generate the requested audit report.
  • To show the audit result in the browser.
  • To store lead and audit history in PocketBase or a local CSV fallback.
  • To improve the audit tool and prioritize follow-up recommendations.
  • To contact you about the submitted site when you have consented.

3. Report Retention

Detailed report files are generated server-side. Public report links are tokenized and expire. Operational report files may be kept for debugging, abuse prevention, and service improvement, then removed during routine maintenance.

4. Third-Party Services

AuditMagnet may use PocketBase for lead and audit storage, Cloudflare for hosting/proxying, Umami for analytics when configured, and Cal.com for booking links. These services process data according to their own policies.

5. Your Rights

  • Unsubscribe: You can opt-out of marketing emails at any time.
  • Data Deletion: You can request the removal of your data by contacting us directly.
  • Correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate contact details.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical controls, including server-side URL validation, rate limiting, report access tokens, and environment-based secrets. No automated audit tool can guarantee that a website is secure or compliant.
